Week 10 Reading Notes: Krishna Epified Part B

Krishna unable to marry Radha was an unfortunate scene from the Epified series. Radha is known as Krishna's wife, but so are several others. However, Radha holds a high position along with Rukmini. Radha is understood to be the reincarnation of Lakshmi, as is Rukmini. Despite the conflicting stories, Radha is still saintly and just as Godly as Krishna. She, too, is revered as a God along with Krishna. This is an important story, as Krishna was unable to marry her. Instead, he married Rukmini, a devotee also known to be a reincarnation of Lakshmi. This confusing story can be merged into one to make more sense of it. There are so many stories that tell different perspectives of both Radha and Rukmini. So, I hope to write a story of the two that will bring some light into the subject.

The three characters Rukmini, Radha, and Krishna are main characters. Each have their parents and their reincarnations. This story can be a development of the details represented in the Epified version.

Another story that can be expanded on is the story of Shiva's bow being broken by Krishna. This is the one time where the breakage of Shiva's bow was 1) without consequence and 2) done by a reincarnation of Vishnu who KNEW he was Vishnu. A wonderful story to bring to light and more of my favorite: Shiva! Another wonderful thing here is the parallelism between the stories of Rama and Krishna. Krishna and Balram are present when the bow breaks, Rama and Lakshmana are present when the bow breaks... AGAIN. A comparison of the stories can also be done for the sake of expanding on stories.
